Announcement : Due to an equipment failure we are temporarily down three draft selections. We're sorry; it hurts us worse than it hurts you

Thanks for your understanding.

                                          Peanut

Brouwerij Bosteels   Tripel Karmeliet7.50 - 12 oz

(Buggenhout, Belgium) What a beauty this is! Blond, robust, smooth and fruity with a crazy pillowy head; pepper, honey, citrus and yeast dryness, boasting a full, rich body; it’s a three-grain beer, made with wheat, oat and barley.  RateBeer 99 pts!  8% abv

Beer Sampler Flights10.00 / for 4 -5oz Samples

( Certain draft items may be excluded due to cost or rarity...)

Anderson Valley   Bro. Davids Dubbel4.25 - 10 oz / 5.95 - 16 oz

( Boonville, CA )   There's a lot of dark fruit in this garnet colored dubbel. Plum, fig, milk chocolate, and spicy yeast are evident in both nose and palate.   9 % abv     Ratebeer 93 pts

Beer Week Collaboration Barleywine5.95 - 10 oz

Brewed as a special treat for the inaugural Cincinnati beer week, in a  collaborative effort by our local breweries: Christian Moerlein, Listermann, Mt. Carmel, Red Ear, Rivertown, and Rock Bottom Brewing companies. The color is light garnet with sweet malt and hop on the nose, perhaps a bit of blood orange and rye. It's slick on the tongue, medium bodied and well carbonated, with mixed citrus and pine on the attack and evergreen and malt lingering in the finish. YUM! A pretty spectacular young barleywine, I can't wait to see how it ages!!     9 % abv ??

Chimay Blanche7.50 - 10 oz

(Baileux, Belgium)  One of the only six true Trappist breweries, made by the monks themselves at the abbey!  Chimay White is an Abbey Tripel ale, hazy gold in color, with a big aroma of fresh hops and yeast, with the fruity notes of Muscat and raisins. The finish is rich and smooth with a touch of malty bitterness.  RateBeer 96 pts.  8% abv.

Founders  Double Trouble IPA4.95 - 10 oz

( Grand Rapids, MI )   This cloudy golden Imperial / Dbl. IPA has sweet malt, grapefruit, and floral hop in the nose. Orange, pineapple, grapefruit, and resin in the palate, and a grapefruit finish of long duration with a bit of alcohol heat.  9.4 % abv   Ratebeer 99 pts

Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold Lager4.25 - 12 oz / 5.95 - 20 oz

(Cleveland, OH)   Four  time World Champion for the style made famous by the German city of the same name, Dortmunder lager has a little more weight and a slightly deeper color than a Pilsner; but is less hoppy, delivering a smooth, easy, yet satisfying beer.              5.8 % abv   Ratebeer 95 pts

Morland "Old Speckled Hen"4.25 - 12 oz / 5.95 - 20 oz

by Greene King (Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England)  The beer is a premium bitter, with a pleasant toffee nuttiness to the malt, and a smooth hoppiness accentuated by the nitrogen pour.  While the beer is good, the story is better:  The name comes from the MG factory's works car, a gold speckled MG with the same nickname.

Smuttynose Winter Ale4.25 - 12 0z / 5.95 - 20 oz

Southern Tier  Choklat5.95 - 10 oz

(Lakewood, NY)   This is a delicious brew that reminds me of chocolate pudding on my mothers stove, dark milk chocolate and milk, being turned into a wonderful desert! And Choklat is indeed a wonderful desert!!   11 % abv        Ratebeer 100 pts

Weinhards  Cincy Beerfest Ale4.25 - 12 0z / 5.95 - 20 0z

( Hood River, OR )   An English style IPA with northwest hops, this is a session ale not a heavy hitter. It comes on with light cascade and bready malt on the nose, and perhaps some orangey citrus. It's balanced from beginning to end, with the hop just showing over the malt at the fore, and lingering a bit at the finish.. It is remarkable in its simplicity, a solid and tasty ale.    6 % abv

beer by the bottlebottles

Much like our bottles of wine, we have over 500 different selections (and are always looking for new ones) to choose from so we can't list them all here. Come in and browse our store, choose a beer and enjoy (it is just that simple). If that seems like too much work, our staff is happy to make some recommendations.
